First Day of School- Year Two

Things are looking up so far!
The halls were quiet. Students walked in straight lines, with their hands behind their backs no less.
I’m a fan of the new Behavior Matrix, the school-wide discipline plan, the morning/afternoon announcements, & the overall RESTRUCTURING of our school this year, put in place by our new, AMAZING principal, Dr. Marshall. She is legit. I absolutely love this lady! She has the fire in her belly, that all administrators should have (or really, ANYONE who works in education should have…), that motivates the masses and encourages you to live at your highest capabilities. It is so nice to have someone like this leading our staff, who will in turn lead students.
Basically, year two is off to a much better start, AND I have a much clearer picture of where I’m leading my students this year in the art classroom.
That’s about all for now, because I have systems to create tonight for organizational purposes (tracking attendance/behavior on the computer…I know you’re jealous). More on the way!
Motto for the year at Hope CCS: “Together, we can achieve the extraordinary!”
Goodnight, God bless!

Hey gal! I stumbled across your website, I am highly interested in doing TFA and I am in the application process! Currently I am a part time art teacher and so far I am highly enjoying it. I was wondering if you had any advice on locations that you know they higher art teachers to ect since I am aware they don’t accept many in that field and if you have any advice ect. Thanks
